Andrew McHenry PLA, ASLA
Andrew is a director at Panca and a licensed landscape architect registered in the State of New York, bringing a global perspective and a wealth of expertise in urban regeneration, residential, and mixed-use developments.
Andrew began his landscape architecture career in New York City in 2013, initially working at a large multidisciplinary design firm before transitioning to a landscape and urban planning practice in Brooklyn. During his time in the city, a significant portion of his project work focused on public housing and playgrounds, many of which were located in underprivileged communities. This experience has shaped his design philosophy, inspiring a strong commitment to creating equitable, sustainable, and vibrant public spaces that serve the diverse needs of local residents.
Since relocating to the UK in 2018, Andrew has worked across a diverse range of high-profile projects during his time working at industry-leading practices in London.
Andrew does a great job of balancing his work life with a genuine commitment to his community and creative outlets. Once a month, you’ll find him getting his hands dirty at the Westcombe Woodland, helping out with local conservation efforts. When he’s off the clock, he’s usually diving into his love for music or exploring the world of graphic novels and illustration.
